Banished.

The Friends of the Glen had their annual “Teas in the Park” jamboree today. Home made refreshments, teas and coffee on tap, a couple of bands (which were bloody awful) and some activities for the kids. This wee lad was, supposedly, taking part in the river dipping; with a distinct facial resemblance to the chap that was organising this particular exercise, he was probably doing it for the fourth time today and was probably quite capable of instructing the other participants anyway. It is my impression that he has been banished to this rock for some misdemeanour with the threat that further offences will result in him being tied to the rock,Tiger Lily fashion, and left till the tide comes in. For all I know, he might still be there.
