Sunny Saturday

The weather is still glorious, let’s hope it lasts all summer holidays.

Mr C was up and out by 10 as he is the man with a mic at my old schools summer fair. Apart from a very quick hoover around, I had a very chilled day. Lazing on the bench under the canopy of jasmine (and the umbrella up too). I read my book and even snoozed for 20mins. Mr C arrived home late afternoon and after supper we enjoyed a lovely evening in the garden with Sim drinking G&Ts, playing cards and trivial pursuits.

I took the plasters off my eye this morning (as advised), gave it a little wash and put some savlon on (later, when josh got me some). It feels more swollen today but otherwise not too bad really.
