Mungo campsite

We woke to a foggy cold morning and a bit of frost on the van. They don’t usually have frost in this dry climate but they had rare rain, and fog. The great benefit is that we didn’t get much dust, what a blessing...

We packed up today and travelled the 2 hour journey to Wentworth on the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers in south west NSW. What a difference, it is lush and green here. My dear friend Ferna ( also a blipper) came around for a cuppa. We have worked together for the past 8-9 years and I hadn’t met her children Eddie and Drew. Not only did they come but they also bought their pet goat. He was very funny climbing onto and into everything including into our van and the neighbours van and even onto Bobs shoulders. Crazy goat.

We are going to do some touristy things together tomorrow. The relatives have travelled north and we’ll meet up again later in the week.

We are camped about 2 metres from the beautiful Darling river.

See back blips of Mungo for yesterday and the day before...
