Skiffs

More sunshine but a stiff breeze from the north east developed as the day wore on. Oh yes. Early doors though, we sat out on the deckchairs in the sun with the papers. Then ‘twas off to assist as deputy pontoon master (self-appointed) on the Granton end of the Midsummer Challenge - a race, row, run event between Newhaven and Granton. Beezer!
And then back as the daughter popped down to sit out awhile and chat (S and his pals had got round to beer-pong after the footy) before legging it to V’s where prosecco was being popped and necked. Her new neighbour (who is very nice it should be recorded) has brought yet another two yappy bloody rescue dogs (I blame the parents) to the community. And a rescue polo pony - all from Dubai. The pony wasn’t there. Or maybe it had legged it over the fences, like her mutts.
