the long wait

Took Dad for his op today and his first round of chemo, one of those 'erase from memory' kind of days which you know will never go away. We saw him afterwards for a bit before heading home till official waiting hours but he was still pretty much out of it from the morphine and anaesthetic.

I guess that combination is his Kryptonite.
