4 HOURS OFF!!!

Now The Rev’s colleague has retired he is on his own most of the week. Working or on call 24/7 with few days off all week. Yesterday he had 3 funerals to do :((
Today someone kindly offered to cover the morning so we set the alarm!!!
#7:30 was an early start but we sailing down to Rye in less than 1.5 hours.
#met up with an old friend for a full English
Breakfast and a good old chinwag !!!
#at 11.00 we headed down to the beach and
#dipped our feet in!!!
By 11:30 we were back on the road and made it back to London with 30 mins to spare before he was called in.
We had called in to see Mum for a cuppa and to collect things for the dump but she’d done it already!!!

Thankful for... A bit bonkers day but at least he felt he’d had a day off.
