Noisy

There are so many Jackdaws in the trees down below our house and they spend a lot of time around the local houses and gardens. They make such a noise, it's a constant soundtrack. They always seem to be arguing with each other. I was watching these two from my window and it was just constant screeching. Perhaps they were arguing about who should be higher than the other. I did wonder whether one was young one, but they both seem to have the grey nape and a juvenile wouldn't have that. So perhaps they are partners.

They also spend a lot of time trying, and often succeeding, to cling onto the feeders in the garden. If one does manage it, then there will always be an audience, below picking up the bits, or in the tree shouting encouragement.
