Blustery skies at l'Amélie

My early morning bike ride today took me North up the coast to Soulac-sur-Mer and the smaller seaside town of l'Amélie. Although it is the beginning of the high season, this part of the coast is still relatively quiet. After a brief rain shower, the wind picked up and the sun came out so I took this shot of the moving clouds. It's only a phone photo as I travel light on my bike!
This is an area where coastal erosion is a constant problem, and the rocks on the right have been placed there as defence against the sea. To the left you can also see an abandoned villa which is perilously close to collapsing into the sea. It appears to have lost some of its roof since I saw it last summer.
