Summer Evening

I'm following Black Tulip's thumbnail examples!

An evening at a local nature reserve known a the Ragpits, after the ;rag' or flint tat used to be mined here.  It is a very up and down site showing that the mining had been relatively deep for hand digging.  Although the site is quite shaded by surrounding trees, we were able to pick out patches of light and capture the interesting flowers or grasses.

It was a relatively small gathering of members and I do hope that was not due to football on the TV - photography is MUCH more important.
