TinyTuesday162 Miniature rose

This shot of one of our potted miniature roses for TT162 was taken hastily and rather late in the day during Half Time, which now feels like hours ago!
I'm posting now that it's all over for tonight when England has won against Colombia after a penalty shoot out, the first that England has won for 12 years apparently.  The mood in our house is festive... 

In other news, Violet has had a busy day, spending the afternoon visiting her new  primary  school which she starts in September, and this evening saw the ENT consultant who has booked her in for that tonsillectomy in mid August.  This means that she'll be fully recovered and ready for school by the beginning of September, fantastic news.
