Tommy Car Wash

Woke up this morning wondering what I should do about the large dent in the bumper of my car after hitting the deer yesterday. A quick Google search came up with a number of options most of which involved going to a garage or buying specialist tools.

I decided to go for the cheap option and borrowed Mrs B's hair-dryer to heat the damaged area of the wing. It was then a case of unscrewing a panel to get my hand to the back of the dent and, hey presto, the dent popped out. A quick polish and it was almost as good as new. Now that's what a call a win - and it never cost me a penny!

While I was lying on the ground taking out some screws under the bumper, Tommy the Coal Tit appeared next to me in search of a seed or two. I duly obliged and he returned every minute or so for another one. Now, if anybody else had interrupted me as often while I was trying to get on with a job I would have lost my patience. However, its impossible to get angry with Tommy when he lands on your arm, hand, leg, shoulder or head and looks at you pleadingly for a seed - even if you are half under a car!

With the weather being cloudy and damp, I had already decided to have a blip holiday. However, when I was washing Mrs B's car I noticed there was quite a lot of light reflected off it and, as Tommy was still flitting back and forward for seeds, I decided to blip him with some back light from the wing mirror.

So apologies for yet another Tommy macro blip, but it was either this or nothing!

If only the weather would improve and I could get back to blipping sunrises!
