Summer in the City

It's all hotting up in the capital. Through to Edinburgh to catch up with my friend and former colleague D. She treated me to a cake at Pâtisserie Maxime which was wondrous and wondrously gluten free. Great to see her and catch up with all the team news. Lots going on as there is in all workplaces. There are many delays and cancellations on the trains - I think the heat is buckling the tracks. But I'm doing ok so far on the homeward leg on a noisy and busy train.
