Euston - in black and white

I was challenged by a friend this morning to tweet a black and white picture every day for the next week showing my life.

I think I am a wee bit busy to rise to the bait but the idea made me look today for something that might fit.

I have had three long distance rail journeys this week (as well as three flights) so this statue , which sits outside Euston station (though it was originally commissioned for inside the old Victorian Euston station) is appropriate.

It is of course Robert Stephenson, the great railway engineer and son of the “father of the railways” George Stephenson.
