Little Boat

As I took some shots of the little boat this morning a cormorant landed on it but this one came out top.

On the home front last yesterday Girl made us proud when she told us that she stood at the front of school assembly with a friend and read out a list of things needed for Mr Hedgehogs party. Today she followed this up by being given a special sticker for reading and was given the next stage book.

As she told me about this I could not help but notice Girl's red face. It turned out not to be red with embarrassment but red from red felt pen that her and her friend had used for face paint after school. We were not so proud of this but it was hard not to laugh at the same time.
