Aesop’s poo drops

Odors have a power of persuasion stronger than that of words, appearances, emotions, or will. The persuasive power of an odor cannot be fended off, it enters into us like breath into our lungs, it fills us up, imbues us totally. There is no remedy for it.

What a day. There’s a queue all the way up the side of Loch Lomond. I hit it at Tarbet and manage to take sneaky left via Crianlarich. It’s slow, behind tourists and trucks, through road works and temporary traffic lights, but the traffic keeps moving.

In Edinburgh I meet with work colleagues, first at Valvona & Crolla and then on Castle Terrace. Finally I hook up with Angus, take the fridge back to Ikea, and go for a splendid curry at the Rahuni in Loanhead.

I might need Aesop’s drops tomorrow, but they’re in Lochgoilhead.
