Armed & Dangerous

Ha!  As if. Found out yesterday after my morning walk that my neighbour down the road chased away a bear from his driveway. This was minutes after I walked down the road past his place. I know it’s just a matter of time before I encounter one so thought I’d be a bit more ‘bear aware’ on my walks. Not that a stick would do much damage if I was charged, but a whistle could startle and scare a bear. Really, the only time I feel I really need to be extra cautious is if a Mama is with her cubs.
