Day Lily Season

Dear Diary,

The Day Lilies have taken the stage now in the garden.  It is their time to bloom and they do so beautifully.  This is one of my favorites.  I've lost track of the variety name but the color just glows.  It looks nice next to the blue catmint too.

These last two days have been wonderful.  Much cooler temperatures and low humidity make for pleasant times in the garden.  We are headed for much higher temperatures today but it is July after all.  No rain in sight though and that is not a good thing as the fire danger is sky high.
