Remembering

Today, the memorial has all been swept clean and tidied up.

Tonight, we are having dinner with friends. Mr H has bought a box of chocolates with wrappers that have questions on them, 'to stimulate lively debate', we shall see. We have promised our friends a bag of windfall apples and are now bracing ourselves for a damp forage. I think I might have just nominated Mr H as 'Head Of Apple Collection'.

Tomorrow, the memorial will be surrounded with poppy wreaths.
