Stars

A beautiful sunny day here, Mr H and I had a walk out in the glorious sunshine.

The goldenrod flowers in the garden have gone all cottony and bits of them reminded me of stars.

Here is a link to the 'Festival Of Remembrance', which was broadcast last night. My brother-in-law is a Falklands War veteran and this year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Conflict. He is one of the Pipe Majors playing the 'Crags of Tumbledown' which starts about eight minutes in. He took part in the 'Battle of Tumbledown' and some of his friends and comrades were injured or killed.

We are thankful that he lived, and we remember those that did not, and we do not forget.
