Get the cream!

At the end of last year I pulled out all the old strawberry plants.  They'd been in for years and, although I'd replaced the worst with runners that I'd grown on, most were very woody.  Also, to make space for my hut, the raised bed that the strawberries were in was going to have to half in size so it seemed to make sense.

I replaced them with new plants, Malling Opal, and they are delicious!  They are a good size, lovely colour and because of the perfect weather we've been having, they are ready now.  Perfect!
