Back to base

After a lovely few days with friends and goodbyes we wended our way back to base stopping off at one of the fish shops in Newlyn where we purchased huge Crevettes and a few Dabs, the 'Catch of the Day', got back to base (between Perranporth and Newquay) just in time to watch the Queen's Birthday Flypast which was fantastic and quite emotional.  Essential food shopping in the afternoon and once the bird feeders were replenished  at base it was lovely to see the usual suspects, Robin, Bluetits and Great Tits visiting again.  In the next couple of weeks we hope to see many more of the usual bird visitors to the garden, but hoping the Badgers won't come to rip up the lawn again this year..
