Wildcat Kitten

Cyclops and CyclopsJnr spend a morning at the zoo - and we saw a Wildcat Kitten. The two of them watched each other for a bit and both pressed their noses to the glass! I only got a photo as it was leaving as I was just standing agog - you hardly ever see the wildcats let alone get to interact with them. Now CyclopsJnr wants to take the kitten home...  We saw one of the parents too - doubtless keeping watch over the little one.

We also saw a tiger, a lion, zebras, penguins, agouti, a pudu, penguins, painted hunting dogs, a pygmy hippo, pelicans, merecats, flamingos, a rhea, a goral and some monkeys.  CyclopsJnr enjoyed on various playgrounds too - and especially enjoyed a tall firemans pole which he slid down several times, to the alarm of other parents who thought he was too little to manage it!

Late MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr went swimming - a welcome way to cool down in this hot weather!
