WHEN THE WEATHER CHANGED

just that little bit we needed to go out, Mischa and I cycled to Madestein and the Uithof parks. I had spotted them earlier and Mischa wanted to see them too, the 'Schotse hooglanders' (Highland cows). They were new in the park, three of them, two brown, one white.
One could actually enter the gates and walk on the paths. We did and the three sat more or less in our way. So we took pictures. Later we read we had to keep a distance of 25 meters, the cows simply are unpredictable. They were eating of the bushes.
Coming to the end of the park we crossed the highway and rode back home.

My haiku:

They felt at home one
Could see they did and satisfied
We drove slowly home

And the latin proverb from the book:

A drop of fortune is worth a cask of wisdom.

Finally I wrote a new blog post called How long does it take to learn to swim.
