Spotted Woodpecker!

Having to wait in for Amazon delivery of my new Bosch Cordless Lawnmower.  3.15 pm and it still hasn't arrived!  This lovely colourful Spotted Woodpecker has arrived though  -  and stayed long enough for me to blip.  He is standing on the stump of my old pear tree down at the bottom of my garden in the wild patch. He visits very rarely so just had to be blipped.  I had to shoot him through a wirenetting fence  -  so that meant keeping the wirenetting out of focus.  Of course, when I sneaked round the fence so I could shoot him more sharply, he spotted me and flew away.  He probably won't return until another six months!  No millionaires or Royalty among my DNA matches so far☺ Only Scottish and Welsh matches so far!
