Ros in Mountain Light

A glass of local wine helped us settle into our tiny mountain hut before dinner after a busy day on various mountains. We failed to find any bouquetins this morning on the Grand Chamossaire, but did find an eidelweiss. After lunch Ros and Trevor had a quick trip to Bretaye on the train to see the highest golf course in the area. We then walked up to Anzeindaz, my favourite local high alpine pasture where 3 male chamois graced us with a sighting.

Now the cow bells are gently ringing near the hut that is otherwise in silence. Goodnight, eyes won’t stay open.

That was a backblip ..... As usual thanks for keeping dipping into our mountain adventures, wait till you see what the intrepid Trevor is up to today!
