Sophie Makes A Splash

Having got home at about 1 o'clock this morning, we were up early for our regular Wednesday date with Sophie.

We spent a lot of the day at the outdoor pool again.

This evening it was all the drama of the England v Croatia semi-final. Such a pity that we couldn't quite manage a second goal while we were in the ascendancy as I think we'd have gone on to win but Croatia played really week after the first half and England have far exceeded expectations at this tournament and should be very proud of what they achieved. Certainly there's more cause for optimism about our football now.
