Winter Morning

This is the time when Wanaka excels photographically…Winter.
There is a light Southerly wind that points the boats to the main beach which will later turn to a Northerly and it is too early for the tourists or school holiday folk to be out and disturbing stuff. Astheydo…..
The Boss and ME wandered round to Edgewater and found a seat that wasn’t wet on the grass bank so he tied me there and went to order a hot choc to go which was delivered by a lovely lass from England who thought I was very touchable and chatted to The Boss who actually felt mildly guilty about the “To Go” cup in spite of the awesome mountain of Marshmallows but returned it to the English lass later.
N.Z. is starting to consider thinking about one use plastics.  Don’t stay tuned as you will fall asleep long before the programme even thinks about starting but there is a plastic bag ban  (our rules) in places  where we live.  He wonders if you can purchase a non plastic rubbish bin liner where you live? i.e. Paper? There are some "Compostable" ones here but no one seems to know exactly what that means and they still look plastic to me.
My Grub comes in a paper sack thingie which seems to have an evaporation issue as the stuff keeps disappearing long before it should.
OH and count the Seagulls in large...
