Descent and return

This morning we descended 8km of the river Sorgue, from Fontaine de Vaucluse to L'Isle sur la Sorgue by kayak. I twas pleasant, but rather busy with other kayakers. I didn't have my camera out for long, and the most beautiful thing in view was the guy who launched our kayaks and accompanied us!

Tonight we're back in the family village, where we'll be attending the "Republican Dinner" on the eve of Bastille Day. Strangely, after 30 years with A, it will be the first one I'll ever have attended.
