Denver Museum of Nature & Science

A half day at this extraordinary museum is not enough time but was all we manage. We learned more about rocks and minerals than we thought possible. It was all fascinating, however, and the gem carving display, which I did not photograph, was worth the price of admission all on its own. Great display of dinosaur bones as well. This backlit display of differently patterned agates was one of many I photographed.

With this entry I have managed to back blip all my missing photos from the past couple weeks. Hope I can keep up a little better during the next two months of our vacation.
