Saturday: Prater

I have two absolutely favourite films, one of which is 'The Third Man', so imagine my delight at going up in the famous Ferris wheel (known locally as the Prater) today.  If they ever change these carriages, I will never forgive them (although I am not quite sure who 'they' are.....)

Lots of other highlights today, culminating in dinner in a 17th century vault.......all I will say is that a lot of goose has been consumed this week.  Oh, and imagine our delight at finding one of the first Christmas markets up and running tonight.  A plum schnapps at ome of the stalls had to be consumed to celebrate.....
