Practicing Battle Skills

The smallest bouquetin on Diablerets Mountain was the star of the day today, alternately agressively challenging the older males and loving up to any females in the group (see extra). A great hour's observation of this group of bouquetins. Then a greater gift when we were having lunch, a bearded vulture (only 32 pairs in the Alps after their reintroduction in 1991) flew by. I think Trevor got a good shot of it but I have put a partial shot into extras. What a great day!

Thanks so much for your kind gifts for the "bowl of stars", I just cannot comment at the moment.
