... with public street maps, is that you really want to turn them around to work out which direction you need to be heading. 

I suspect this diagram would cause problems even to locals, because most of the places on the map are behind you when you are facing the map. A little bit of thought when designing the map and its position could have provided a better solution.

I did help them find where they wanted to be, but forgot to mention they might feature on blipfoto.
