Dundas Square - just walkin'

Lunch break walk with my awesome Argentinian friend (fellow EA & fitness instructor). She is so lovely and we cover each other's fitness classes. We wandered up to Dundas Square - the shopping heart of Toronto. This ad for Fallsview Casino was huge and on the top of a building. Take a look at the stairs on the left side of the billboard to gain size perspective. The figures on the billboard are actually lifesize. Still in the midst of a crazy heatwave, felt like over 40 degrees today with heavy humidity. A horrible and brief thunderstorm hit during the evening rush hour. A lightening strike on our train track line knocked out a train signal. We were stranded an hour then dumped at the 1st station. I walked about 20 blocks and when the rain started I sought shelter in a coffee shop and my sweetie came & rescued me. My commute this evening was 3.5 hrs (normally it is 1 hr). Sigh....dinner at 9:00 then bed.
