Dubrovnik from the walls

Today we visited Dubrovnik old town and walked the walls. I last visited Dubrovnik in the 1980s before the war, it was sad to see how many roofs had been replaced due to direct hits, and the shell-marks and bullet holes in the pavements and walls.

This shot was taken from the highest tower around the walls. 

Phenomenally hot day - fortunately I can cope with the heat - the rest of my party less so though.
