Life in Sunny Dubai

Still iconic

We've had noticeably clearer mornings days recently. I can even see the blue of the sky without my glasses on!

Had to get blood tests done for follow-up visits to our respective doctors. The clinic next door is more reasonable than anywhere else, so we didn't have far to go. This was especially nice for G who had to fast for twelve hours! We treated ourselves to a breakfast of aloo paratha delivered fresh and piping hot to the door!

Later, we vamooshed for the cleaner. Patrick got in touch and was free to meet for a weekly catch-up, so the time was well spent. We even had time to drive him to a post office to collect a computer part he bought on eBay weeks ago! It seemed such a long transit time for what turned out to be an extremely lightweight package with a single item in it!

Home via our normal route from that side of town. G managed to get this shot of Burj Khalifa from the front windscreen. This building never ceases to captivate.

We had a very uplifting first meeting with the new SA officers. An excellent sermon was preached which really spoke to us both. :)  And we've both had emails of initial results from the morning and it's not looking very good.
