A day in the Life

6am  get up for a pee, nice sunrise, briefly consider getting up and doing something creative
6.05 fall back to sleep, weird dreams
8am  Get up, feed cats make tea, cuppa in bed
8.20 Wash, breakfast (muesli, banana and blueberries)
10 Into Bantry hospital for a mammogram (ouch, but all very chatty whilst waiting, no British reserve here!)
11.00 To the Learning Network to pick up my cardi left the other day
11.30 coffee and Portuguese custard tart at the Stuffed Olive (very good)
12.15 stop off at the Kilnaruane stone on the way home to see if conditions good for photography ( so so, see extra)
1.00 collect parcel from local shop on the way home (my walking books)
1.30 lunch in the garden (bean sprout salad, very good)
2.30 Heron Gallery, book delivery - K kindly gives me a carousel for the cards
2.45 Back into Bantry, deliver books to Bantry Bookshop (the two I took in yesterday, last of the last lot, already sold)
3.30 Swim! Low tide but pretty delicious - see how sporty and abstract this is - just before doing some spectacular dives and impressive crawl (not)
4.15  Himself returns from a hike up on the ridge just as I do; feed cats (and foxes)
4.30 Cup of tea and crossword down by the pond
5.00 Another delivery of books (to our home this time, odd how they always come in two lots and at different times and with different couriers)
6.00 Card delivery - a different courier 
6.30 Supper, Himself cooking (bliss) - feta omelette with steamed sweet corn and sauteed mushrooms
7.20 sort out blip, chase fox out of house
Glass of wine and the prospect of Poldark to look forward to (series 2)! And strawberries. And bath. With candles.And smellies. And book (Mermaid  & Mrs Hancock purchased the other day, loving it)
