The tail end?

I went into the University today and thought it was a shame that all that beautiful, white, gleaming snow has turned into nasty, slippery slush ... and then the rain came! Is this the end of the cold snap down here in the South? I'm not sure but it was certainly a dreary sort of day today. Not the usual buzz - everyone just wanted to be inside in the warm! Me too.
