The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

Westonblippin' part II

Better in LARGE

The silence of the forest endures
night turns to day
I sit and watch
waiting

for a leaf
to
fall

Blipped at Westonbirt Arbortetum, Glos. UK

I have changed the original text because I found a poem I'd written at Westonbirt, but forgotten about! I want to be able to post more often in the poetry group, and encourge my poetic tendencies, which have been shoved under the bed these past few years. Thanks for all the comments on what I wrote, especially about the finding of war graves and 'lost' ancestors. I hope to do that one day. I hope that the comments will endure and not get wiped in this transformation.
