Mucking about on the river

A repeat of last year when we hired a day boat on the canal but this was a nicer boat, a nicer canal and nicer weather. Captain Tim made our day when he suddenly bailed out and left Mick to take over with next to no notice. Mick had to learn to control the boat just as we entered a very narrow stretch. Under the circumstances Mick did very well and I'm sure the dents will hammer out.
