Barangaroo

A few weeks ago our Blackheath Photo Group had an excursion to Sydney where we spent a wonderful morning exploring the new precinct that is Barangaroo. The only area we didn’t visit was the Barangaroo Reserve. At the moment it’s not easily accessible because of the construction of the new Crown Casino. Eventually we will be able to walk the entire length of the foreshore and it will be nothing short of spectacular. CCN and I were determined to see the parkland area today and just took our time walking from our hotel down to Wynyard Station, through the incredible tunnel to the harbour and then wound our way to the new parkland area. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the walk and on such a stunning day. This image is taken looking back across the harbour to the Anzac Bridge. As you can see, the ferry in the rear (“the Friendship”) is jam packed. Not a cloud in the sky and around 18 degrees, a big change from the mountains, that’s for sure.

I can’t believe it, I have just caught up on almost a week of blips. I would love it if my blip buddies would head back to see what has been happening in my world since last Monday :)). Oh, happy days!!
