Portencross Pier, Ayrshire

The light today was quite flat, however that did not deter myself or friend Howard getting out and making some images along the coast. Today Howard presented me with a hand-made camera, built by him to specifications I had provided - a beautiful and highly functional piece of handiwork.

Having shot recently with 35mm film, the massive 8 x 10 inch negatives that this camera produces are wonderful, and I very much look forward to making images with it over the coming years :)
