What I've Done

By JohnGravett

Lest we Forget

Attended the remembrance service at the Braithwaite cenotaph this morning - and liked the simplicty of these fabric poppies on a very plain wreath.

Didn't need anything fancy, just the ability to remember all those who fought in the wars and conflicts over the years. So important to remember not only those who lost their lives, but those who got injured or disabled.

I lost a great-uncle in the first world war - I still have his wedding ring, and both my Father and Father in law fought in - and survived - the second world war.

Remember them, and thank them all for what they did.
