The bee hotel that I gave Mick for his birthday has three leaf cutter bees in residence, well, using it as a nursery to be more precise as three of the tubes have been filled with leaves, pollen, nectar and a single egg, everything the new bee needs to hatch and eat well until they emerge next spring and start the while cycle over. Fascinating.
