ardbeg photo bomb

Drizzly today so we didn't rush the morning, just read in the van, had a leisurely breakfast and spent ages looking at the Kildalton Cross. It's 8 feet tall, dates from the 8th century and is beautifully carved with biblical scenes. see here for more info.

Then, since it was still drizzly, we visited Ardbeg distillery just down the road. Ardbeg is my favourite whisky, just the 10 year old kind, nothing fancy. We didn't go on a tour or have a dram, just a fruit tea in the Kiln Cafe while Jess made friends outside.

Afterwards we went down to the pier for photos of the iconic writing on the wall. Some Japanese tourists were on a private tour and tasting and D photo bombed their group pic. He's a bit blurred since we both had to move fast to get this photo!

Extra is of wet Jess on the pier.
