Life from a City

End of the Mills

I'm supposed to be focusing on dereliction as my project at the moment, but have had far too much else on. Today I had to take my youngest to another appointment. The good news is that he has now been signed off as 'well'; it has been a couple of months since the last bad episode, so here's hoping.

The place we have been going to is in quite a run down area. We did a bit of exploring today. Its had housing interspersed with industry, much of it run down and derelict. This building is a case in point. The sign outside infers a recycling plant, but it looks as if that is a business someone is trying to run on a repurposed site. At least the roof on this side was sound. The other half of the site they need to knock down. There are more holes than roof.
