Rolling Clouds

Thunder last night and heavy rain led to heavy showers this morning with a bitterly cold wind, winter has returned.

I took a stroll down by the river, it was a little light brown in colour and had completely changed course. It is a braided river where many branches make up the volume meandering over stones and just finding its way wherever it wants, the only time it is ever full is when its in flood and then its a raging torrent from bank to bank and sometimes more.

Heavy clouds were rolling through, a stiff wind and just enough sun every now and then to make a little glisten on the flowing water. The white broom is completely finished flowering and the yellow is not far behind but in place the yellow lupins are flourishing sending drifts of sweet fragrance through the air. No doubt when the clouds disappear the mountains will have another covering of fresh spring snow.

Thank you for sending my little bee to the spotlight page with your stars, hearts and lovely words - I was over the moon with the shot and delighted you all enjoyed it.

Daughter E is on her way out to see us and Hubby is looking for some tea so I'd best fly and come back later.

Have a great week all :)
