Despite it being a lovely sunny day, I didn't venture into the garden for long as it was so very, very hot. So lots of jobs done around the house today instead. I checked back on blips and I don't think we've had any rain here at all since 4th June - 7 weeks ago.

B&Q finally got hold of the fitter - no real apology given for not turning up or not letting me know. No date given for when the work will be done either, just a promise of 'he'll ring you'.
