Even the birds and the bees....

Even the birds and the bees deserve some ice cold water on a very hot day.. 

This morning at work was humbling.. Today I learned why the companies health insurance is requiring drivers to undergo such medical test. In the last 3 months in the Seattle area, 4 drivers have lost their lives due to medical events. (privacy laws prevented more detail). Two of these happened while drivers were going down the road that caused the loss of equipment, loss of the load and considerable injury to others.. 

The other day an article came out and said I was in the 7th most deadly industry in America. Most drivers who are in the industry as long as I have been, don't get the chance to retire.. 

Just another reason to embrace each day...
