Green beetle

The day started with a FaceTime chat with Laura, who sounded much brighter, and says her foot is feeling quite a bit better. She’s submitted forms to her insurance, so hopefully will get at least some of her money back from the hiking trip, and the medical expenses. The weather was really pleasant today, comfortably warm with periods of sun and clouds. Late morning we headed up to Corwin on the Little Miami trail, and I managed 22 miles return today, though I was flagging a little towards the end! I didn’t take that many shots, but I noticed this green beetle on one of the flowers by the trail, and thought he would work well for Tiny Tuesday. There were loads of butterflies flitting around in places, including several really large yellow and black ones, but they were in perpetual motion, and I just couldn’t get a good shot. One of them had severely damaged wings - it was a wonder he could still fly.
