RSD Photo's SoCal Life

I was struck by the light falling on this young woman as I walked through the mercado this morning. Most mercado photos are close-up by necessity. The light is wildly different, deep shadows interspersed with brilliant shafts of sunshine, which makes anything other than a tight shot very unattractive. This view down one of the aisles, however, was lit perfectly, like it had been set up by a professional. The woman was absorbed in her task of checking paperwork and I was able to capture enough exposures to ensure at least one on the computer would be what I saw as I walked by in person.
